Since 2010 Frederik Meffre has made wines from some of
his family's
vineyards and has created a new domain. The wines are
made in his father`s barn in Seguret, In 2016 he started to build a new
winery by the house of his family. The first part, ageing cellar,
storage and tasting room was finished in 2018-19. bMaybe a new
vinification cellar will follow later.
The vineyards cover 5 ha in Seguret, 6 ha in Sablet, 4
ha Cotes du Rhone in Villedieu and 3 ha of IGP.
Since 2012 the vineyards in Sablet and Seguret have been cerified agriculture biologique.
Wines
Cotes du Rhone Village Seguret
60% Grenache and 40% Syrah. Syrah aged in barrels.
Cotes du Rhone Village Sablet
70% Grenache and 30% Syrah. From high altitude vineyards
near Montagne Cheval Blanc, montagne de Cheval-Long. Matured
in older barriques.
Cotes du Rhone Rosé
50%
Syrah (Saignée) and 50% Grenache (Press direct).
Cotes du Rhone Blanc La Font de Fades
60% Grenache Blanc, 30% Viognier and 10% Picpoul.
From vineyards in Villedieu.
IGP Blanc
50% Marsanne, 25% Viognier and 25% Grenache Blanc.
Parly matured in older barriques.
