Walter McKinlay used to live in rainy Aberdeen,
Scotland. The family wanted to change stile of life and decided to be wine
growers in sunny Provence.
After having sold his business in
information technology he bought
17 ha. of vineyards in the "mountains" between Seguret and Vaison.
In 1998 he built new
cellars and purchased further 8 ha. in 2000.
Since 2000 Sebastien Magnouac has been responsible for the wine making.
The daughter Kate and son-in-law
Hugo Levingston are participating in the work at the domain.
