The Demoulin family has owned
the place since 1935 when it was purchased by Eugéne Demoulin, the
grandfather of the owner today. He started after the purchase to plant
vines and those vines give name to the best cuvée. The name of the place
comes from the Provencal words tranca (cut) and vedel (calf).
This tells about a slaughter's place.
Today the 4th generation, Guillaume Demoulin is running the domain and
makes some of the best wines from the appellation.
The domain covers 32 ha.
