Libby and Norge Larson are the proud owners of Château Bois d´Arlène. They
divide their lives between Vacqueyras and Seattle, traveling from one continent
to another as regularly as possible. In Seattle, Arlène has
a brilliant career in the hospital environment, and Norge is a renowned
physicist and oceanographer. Twenty years ago now, they came
to the region for the first time, and fell head over heels in love with it.
They then met the Bernard family, who, with great generosity,
introduced them to this unique terroir which produces high quality wines.
After many holidays spent in Vacqueyras, it is quite natural that
they wanted to settle in the region, to feel a little more at home and finally put their bags down.
Domænet er på i alt 18 ha., hvoraf 9 ha. er beplantet med
vinstokke 7 ha. i Vacqueyras og 2 ha. IGP. Indtil 2018 blev vinen fremstillet på Domaine
la Ligière, men nye kældre skulle være klar til høsten
2019. Det er dog stadig Philippe Bernard fra la Ligiere, der laver vinene.
Siden 2019 har markerne været certificeret agriculture biologique.

2015: 65% Grenache, 35% Syrah. 67-årige vinstokke.
Vacqueyras Blanc l'Orée du Bois
2017: Roussanne, Clairette, Viognier.
50% gæret og lagret i demi-muids i 8 mdr.
IGP Vaucluse Le Berger
2018: 100% Serine (Varietet af Syrah). Lagres 6 mdr. i
barriques.
IGP Vaucluse Rosé RendesVous
2018: 50% Syrah, 50% Cinsault. Kortvarig modning i 3-årige
barriques
IGP Blanc La Comtesse
2018: 40% Viognier, 40% Fermentino, 20% Piquepoul. Plantet 2015.
