The domain was founded in 1936 by René Devine. His son André Devine followed the traces of his father. The owner today Bernard Burle is the son in law of Andre Devine, born as the oldest son of Edmond Burle (Beaumette, Gigondas), whose domain today is run by Bernard's two younger brothers.
Domaine Font Sarade is this way the result of a marriage - vineyards from two families melted together.
The domain covers 35 ha of which 18 ha are Vacqueyras, 1,25 ha Gigondas, 
1 ha Plan de Dieu, 8 ha Ventoux, 2 ha Cotes du Rhone and 5 ha in IGP-area.
