Originally,
a
13th-century buildings were built here, by
a Pierre de Vérone, who was the lord of an area in the region. From
him comes the name of the place, and his heraldic weapon
is
used as a logo for the domain and on the labels of the bottles.
The place came in the Pelissier family's possession in the
early 1900s. Today, the fourth generation of the family
are
running the heir
the two brothers Adrien, Gabriel and cousin Jean-Brise, who took over
responsibility in 2017.
It is Jean-Brise who is responsible for the wine making and
the two brothers who are responsible for the other activities.

cover 48 hectares, partly in Vinsobres
partly in Mirabel-aux-Baronnies.
