The domain was established in 2004. Until then the
vineyards belonged to Jean Ezingard Domaine Les Aussilons. As the retirement was in sight
Jean Ezingard sold his vineyards in Vinsobres to a Belgian business man Gérard
Constant who for many years had a dream of becoming a wine grower and had been
visiting wine schools in Bourgundy and in Suse-la-Rousse.
Gérard and Denise came by the purchase in possession of 10 ha of Vinsobres.
When Vinsobres became a Cru only 7 ha was inside the new borders and the
rest have to be named Cotes du Rhone Village or Cotes du Rhone.
In Cairanne they make red wines from 5 ha. From vineyards in Seguret is
made a White wine.
