In 1964 the property was purchased
by the grandfather of Jean-Yves Perez.
At that time only
10 hectares were planted with vines and a similar amount was planted with oak
trees for collecting truffles.
Through the years the planting of vines increased and today there are 28
hectares with vines. Jean-Yves'
father sold the grapes to the cooperative.
When Jean-Yves in 2000
returned to his home after finishing his education (BTS) he wanted to make wines of
his own and his father has rented to him 5 hectares of the oldest vineyards from
where he started in 2005 to make and bottle wines
in his own very small cellar at the domain.
In 2012 Jean-Yves' father retired and has left all
28 hectares to Jean-Yves.
Then there had to be built a new cellar and this project was nearly finished in
May 2012 ready for this years harvest.
Since 2014 the vineyards have been certified agriculture biologique.
Jean-Yves Perez is married to Cécile Varenne from Domaine
du Grand Bourjassot in Gigondas. She works at both domains but
her home is at Obrieu in Visan.

Cotes du Rhone Village Visan Cuvée des Antonins
90% Grenache and 10% Syrah from a parcel (altitude 350m) at lieu-dit Les Antonins.
